I currently provide psychotherapy sessions online.
I will resume offering sessions in person once the pandemic subsides.
Individual sessions last 55 minutes. My fee is $150.00 per session. I have several sliding-fee spaces in my practice.
I do not currently accept insurance, but I can provide documentation for insurance “out of network” coverage/reimbursement.
Your Rights & Protections Against Surprise Medical Bills
As an out of network practitioner, I am transparent with fees so my patients know and can plan for the cost of services. This transparency is required by the ethical standards I abide by as a psychotherapist. I also believe it is the only way for me to bring trust and integrity into our working relationship.
The Federal No Surprises Act went into effect on January 1, 2022 to protect patients from surprise medical bills. As a result, all licensed health providers who offer out of network services are required to post a notice of “your rights and protections against surprise medical bills” on our websites and in our physical offices. You may know that many people have been harmed by surprise medical bills, often incurred during emergency or surgical care where there may be out of network providers involved in a patient’s care without the patient’s knowledge. The nature of mental health services is vert different — we do not engage in surprise or balance billing. It is highly unlikely any such event could ever occur when receiving services from me as there will be no situation in which you “inadvertently” receive care from me without choice. Further, in accordance with the Act, if you would like, I will gladly provide a Good Faith Estimate of the costs of services prior to a first session and in the course of treatment. Rest assured, you can always ask me about any costs involved in our work together. I promise to provide clear and accurate information to you.
