Hello! Welcome to my practice. Here is a little bit of information about me.
I received a BA degree in Liberal Arts from Sarah Lawrence College in 1987, an MA degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in 1994, and a PhD in Clinical Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in 2006. In 2008 I became licensed as a Psychologist in California. In 2021 I became licensed in Wyoming.
I began my practice in Los Angeles in 2006. In 2013 I moved my life and work to the Santa Cruz Mountains. In 2020, I moved to Powell, Wyoming where I live with my husband and just the right amount of cats. Over the years, I have worked with many different people struggling with a wide variety of issues.
Prior to moving to Wyoming, I taught clinical psychology in the Master’s Program at Antioch University. I also served as Adjunct Faculty at Pacifica Graduate Institute. I continue to serve on dissertation committees for Pacifica students.
As a lifelong learner, I continue to inquire into my own experience and pursue further education and training in: Depth Psychology, Human Development, Trauma, Neuroscience, Somatic Experiencing, Mindfulness, Attachment Theory, Group Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Meditation, and Yoga. I am certified at the 500 RYT Instruction level in Yoga.
I love to move, dance, practice yoga, meditate and inquire into the meaning of existence through attention to body, mind, heart, and soul. I am a lifelong student of embodied consciousness.
Ever grateful for the gift of a human lifetime, I recognize both joy and suffering as paths to deeper awareness. I give thanks to the many teachers who have poured their heart wisdom into the shared field.
May we all realize the truth and freedom of our being in this lifetime.
